    Hi,
I’m using Pixel Caffeine version: 2.0.6
I’m getting this warning form facebook :
    ******************************************************************
PageView Event Violates Business Tools Terms

    ISSUE
One or more of your PageView events is collecting sensitive data or personal information that is unhashed, which violates Facebook’s Business Tools Terms. These terms prohibit sharing information that you know or reasonably should know is from or about children under the age of 13 or that includes personal information, unhashed health, financial, or other categories of personal information (including any information defined as sensitive under applicable law such as government identifiers like a social security number, home address, phone number, email address, or password.)
    SOLUTION
Open your website’s source code and remove the following parameters for the PageView event as soon as possible.
    ********************************************************************

Currently I can see that the pixel code sent the the personal data but it hashed(I checked in the facebook pixel helper).
Are you familiar with this warning? how can I resolve it?

    Thanks
    Eran

    Hi,

this message is really weird. The hashing is already done by Facebook as explained here https://developers.facebook.com/ads/blog/post/2018/07/20/advanced-matching-pixel/ and the plugin doesn’t add any other sensitive data or personal information unhashed.

Also, this is the first time I see this message.

Could you please make sure you have only one pixel installed in the website and you don’t have any other source of the pixels fired from your website? Or make sure also that you don’t have any other Pixel ID installed in other websites.

    Let me know, thanks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.
You were right and the rout cause of the problem was an additional pixel in our page.
After removing the pixel the problem was solved.

    Thanks
    Eran
