[resolved] Problem with expiration date (6 posts)

    Im having some trouble with expiration dates. I didint notice but i had set to expire after 30 days, but now, when my posts started to disappear, i have noticed that i needed to change it to blank in order to never expire.

    The main problem is that now the previous jobs are expiring constantly, i cannot change the date of expiration nor cancel the expiration date... is there any way to change that?

    For old jobs, you'd need to change them to drafts and re-publish. Future jobs will be unaffected.

    i have tried this but when i change to draft and re-publish they still appear as they were posted 30 days ago and just expire after a couple hours. Theres any way to change this posting date?

    I think I see the issue; edit this part:

    Replace this line: https://github.com/mikejolley/WP-Job-Manager/blob/master/includes/class-wp-job-manager-post-types.php#L337

    } else {
    update_post_meta( $post->ID, '_job_expires', '' );

    Let me know if it works and ill update the plugin.

    Hey Mike, same problem here. I followed your instructions above, added the code, but I don't see a change to expiration.

    Is there a way to turn expiration off completely?
