Today, October 6, 2025, I installed the plugin and was asked to create an account so I could create a free key.

I created the account and it required me to verify my email first and then access my account.

The email never arrived. I tried a second time as it said in the instructions and again the email never arrived.

For this reason, I have uninstalled the plugin.

    Hi Christos,

The email verification step is actually handled by the third-party site (vpnapi.io) where the free key is generated — not by our plugin directly. It seems the issue is on their side, not ours.

What I suggest is to reach out to their support at contact@vpnapi.io and let them know that the verification email isn’t arriving. They can manually verify your account or help fix it quickly.

Once the key is verified, the plugin will work perfectly as intended.
We’d really appreciate it if you could give it another try — and if it works fine after that, it would mean a lot if you could update your rating ❤️

Thanks again for letting us know.

    Hello,

We have confirmed that the problem was caused by a temporary outage with the email provider used by the API key service, vpnapi.io.

We are happy to confirm that this external email issue is now resolved.

If you attempt to register now, the activation email should arrive instantly.

We apologize again for the inconvenience.

    The VPN Guard Plugin Team
