# Problem with editor role

 * Hey there,
    I got the following problem. There is an option in advanced settings
   to allow editors access to the newsletter plugin. When its off everything is 
   as it should be. But when i switch it on it only works in parts. As an editor
   there is now the menu entry for Newsletter and i can also access the newsletter
   dashboard but everything else like the userlist or the list of newsletters can’t
   load and shows a white page with an failure message like: newsletter_main_main
   can’t load (my translation from german …) I’m using the User Role Editor Plugin
   too and when i give the editor the capability “manage_options” everything works
   fine. BUT i don’t want the editors to manage my page settings and it is not a
   normal capability of the editor role!!
 * How and where do you check wether the user is an editor or an admin?
    Which capabilities
   are involved in the check? Or is there another problem?
 * Would be nice if you could help!
