# Problem with Dropbox Authentication

 * Hi,
 * I’ve just installed the UpdraftPlus plugin and followed the necessary steps to
   have Dropbox as my choice of remote storage. I followed the link to authenticate
   with Dropbox which it said was successfully done (there is also a note at the
   top of the settings page stating: “Success: you have authenticated your Dropbox
   account.”
 * However, when I try to make a back up (and now try to delete an unsuccessful 
   backup), I keep seeing the error messages of “Warning: you do not appear to be
   authenticated with Dropbox.”
 * Any help/advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you.

 * Best to try to authenticate again – go to the ‘Dropbox’ section in the ‘Remote
   Storage’ section in UpdraftPlus, and press the link to authenticate again.

 * Hi David,
 * Thanks so much. I see there was an update on the plugin this morning, which I
   did and had to re-authenticate my Dropbox account and everything now works perfectly–
   my backup is done! Many thanks.
