Problem with download files being sold in Marketpress v3

    We have now found another problem since your upgrade. There have been so many.

    WE sell files for people to download and this was working fine. since the upgrade when someone buys a file they are sent an email with a link to download the file (as should happen). When they click on the link, they receive a message that the file cannot be found.

    Here is an email sent to me by a customer..
    Hi

    I have been unable to download the record purchased – the error message below shows each time I try.

    Warning: MarketPress was unable to download the file https://gwentfhs.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/W2y6ND3h28e2W.pdf for serving as download: Service Unavailable in /home/gwentfhs/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-ecommerce/includes/public/class-mp-public.php on line 587
    Whoops, there was a problem loading up this file for your download. Please contact us for help
    Can you perhaps email these to me?

    The files are still on the system.

    I have tried setting up a new product. I could not download that either.

    I have waited a week and still no reply. What am I supposed to do to be able to sell our downloadable files?

    Hello @chalky96234,

    I’m very sorry for not responding earlier.

    Can you try enabling “Use Alternative Download Method?’ option in the Store Settings -> General

    and see if this will help with the issue?

    Hi Kasia
    I have tried this.
    When you click to pay it takes you to a page saying that the page cannot be found. No email is sent to the person who has bought the file, but the order is recorded in the orders made.

    Our site is gwentfhs.org.uk
    There is a product which ha a price of £0 which is

    St Arvans Marriages 1683 – 1812

    Most of our files are small.

    Hello @chalky96234,

    We are here having trouble to test your site. Trying from Peru and Poland and we can’t get access.
    Would it be possible to disable that plugin that limits that?
    Let me know.

    Also if this would be possible could you run plugin conflict test if another plugin is not blocking those files in MarketPress?
