# Problem with domain email

 * Hello,
 * I used to have wp.com which I recently transferred to wp.org. With my wp.com 
   blog I had a domain name (penseesduneshoesaholic.com), which was transferred 
   on my wp.org blog. The domain was renewed yesterday. I also used a redirection
   of a custom email, [tatiana@penseesduneshoesaholic.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-domain-email/tatiana@penseesduneshoesaholic.com?output_format=md),
   to my regular email, [tatianamk23@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-domain-email/tatianamk23@gmail.com?output_format=md).
 * Since this morning, the redirection hasn’t worked. I am not getting any emails(
   I use this email a lot so this is very very problematic). It’s not an issue of
   my mailbox because when I email [tatianamk23@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-domain-email/tatianamk23@gmail.com?output_format=md)
   it works. Does it have anything to do with the domain name renewal? Where do 
   I check? Now that I have wp.org everything is different…

 * Looks like you now host with Hostgator. They have a help page for email forwarding:

 * It’s worth pointing out that this is actually a hosting issue and not a WordPress
   one.
