 * Hi,
 * I am using the products shortcode on the home page but the display does not match
   that of the shop page. How can I update the home page layout so the products
   are uniformly laid out like they are on the shop page?
 * Thank you!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fproblem-with-display-using-products-shortcode%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@bigmoxy](https://wordpress.org/support/users/bigmoxy/),
 * The style and display of elements on your site are mainly controlled by the theme.
 * I went to check your site to see what you’re describing but it’s in maintenance
   mode and I was unable to verify. For now, I’d suggest reaching out to your theme
   developers that are in the best position to guide you and help match the pages
   using the built-in tools of the theme or most likely via CSS.
 * Thanks.

 * Thank you [@rainfallnixfig](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rainfallnixfig/)
   for responding. My theme does not have any WooCommerce specific styling. If my
   theme controlled the styling, why are the products shortcode and shop pages different?
   I would expect them to be formatted the same.

 * Hi Tim,
 * Thanks for getting back!
 * I performed some tests and these results came out.
 * Shop and My Homepage pages with **Storefront** theme:

 * Shop and My Homepage pages with **Twenty Twenty** theme:
 *

 * As you can see, the pages look different in Twenty Twenty while they are pretty
   much the same with Storefront. From this, I assume that it is the theme that
   controls the style and the way the pages are displayed.
