You need content also. If the page or post has not content (e.g just a shortcode [contact] ) it won’t work unless you”re using seo plugins to add a description or custom fields.

Thank you for your response.
The post has content, but does not work. I tested the URL of specific post on the Twitter Cards validation page. It returned there was no description.
I have been using your plug-in on my blog site for a couple of months. It was working until just recently, probably about one week ago.

I don’t use SEO plugins. What kind of cofig information you need to know? Can you please give me specific examples?

For example you have 1 page with only shortcode [contact] this won’t work for meta desc unless you set a custom desc with SEO plugins or custom fields option.
I see you use Add Meta tags plugin. It could be a bad interaction with this plugin or another.
However this this page/ works.

Yes, I am using Add Meta Tags plugin. I also thought it might be the reason. So, I deactivated it, and tried again. However, it still did not work.
BTW, I have not changed the configuration for a while. I have used both JM Twitter Cards and Add Meta Tags, and the Twitter card worked fine.
Just in case, I now deactivate Add Meta Tags.
I recall JM Twitter Cards, used to have the setting for the number of words for description. Now, I don’t see it.
Just curious, was there any reasons that you discontinued the setting for the number of words for description?

Hi,
I’m afraid I do not see why you get this blank desc, I’ve put fallback everywhere so description is never empty. It’s a required meta for Twitter Cards in most of card types.

It is very strange why my posts that have contents don’t get description.
I will try to investigate by myself. I plan to post new articles of my blog. Hope it will work.
I am using WordPress 3.7.3. May be I should upgrade to 3.9. I don’t know it will resolve this issue.

Hi,
Just to give you heads-up.
Yesterday, I posted new entry on my blog. Twitter Card worked at this time.
I updated JM Titter Cards in accordance with this week’s update. I am still using WP 3.7.3.
I plan to post another one today or tomorrow. I will give you update. If it work, I will close this as resolved.
