    you haven’t disabled dashboard widgets under “Screen Options by any chance?

    no, “right now” box was not loaded completely too

    Two ideas:

    1) Deactivate all plugins and try again.

    2) Refresh your browsers cache.

    I try refresh browser cache and ctrl+F5 – no reaction 🙂

    Other sections of dashboard is normal

    @crsrock,

    Any ideas as to when this issue reared its head? (eg: upgrade to 2.9) in other words are you able to identify when it started to happen?

    The other thing you might like to try is to display the source of the page and check exactly where it stops – this should give you a hint as to what is causing the problem.
