Support » Plugin: Markup (JSON-LD) structured in schema.org » Problem with custom taxonomies

  • Hi,
    How is it possible to include or exclude custom taxonomies from breadcrumb?

    I have a video custom post type with 3 custom taxonomies: genre, video-type and video-tag. look at the example bellow:

    {
        "@context": "http://schema.org",
        "@type": "BreadcrumbList",
        "itemListElement": [
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 1,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com",
                    "name": "abc"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 2,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/media/",
                    "name": "media"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 3,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-tag/john-legend/",
                    "name": "john-legend"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 4,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-tag/katy-perry/",
                    "name": "katy-perry"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 5,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-tag/rihana/",
                    "name": "rihana"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 6,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-tag/jack/",
                    "name": "jack"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 7,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-type/music-video/",
                    "name": "music-video"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 8,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-type/movies-music/",
                    "name": "movies-music"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 9,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-genre/drama/",
                    "name": "drama"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 10,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/video-genre/romance/",
                    "name": "romance"
                }
            },
            {
                "@type": "ListItem",
                "position": 11,
                "item": {
                    "@id": "https://sample.com/media/name-of-the-post/",
                    "name": "name of the post"
                }
            }
        ]
    }

    The plugin is bringing all the custom taxonomies to breadcrumb and it’s so bad. None of them are connected to each other and and are not hierarchical and so the breacrumb should be at most 5 levels.

    How is it possible to fix this issue?
