# Problem with custom excerpts

 * Hello,
 * First off, I wanted to share my uttermost gratitude for making this awesome plugin
   for free. Thank you very much.
 * Second, although overall functionality is working flawlessly, I have a little
   problem with getting the custom excerpt to work. For example, please check out
   the link below for demonstration:
 * [http://ha-mim.org/?s=karan](http://ha-mim.org/?s=karan)
 * Both two posts have the word includes the search key “karan”. However, I cannot
   see the custom excerpt. It only shows up the first words of the post. If you 
   actually open up that second result and CTRL + F on the page, you will see that
   the word “karan” appears somewhere in the middle.
 * I have already double checked “Create custom search result snippets”. It is checked.
   I have tried unchecking/rechecking but didn’t help.
 * Any help is appreciated. Thank you very much.

 * Somebody else had a similar problem of excerpts only working for the first post.
   I’m not sure what’s going on, as that’s most certainly not how it works on my
   sites, and unless I can test it, I can’t tell what’s wrong.
 * So, hard to say – this is some mysterious bug at work.

   if you are interested. I can send it your email.
