Support » Plugin: Responsive Maintenance Pro With Countdown » Problem with countdow

  • Hi,

It looks like though the timer shows the remaining time based on LOCAL time (based on WP settings, I guess), it still uses UTC time to stop the timer…

In my case, for example, the timer stops displaying (so, the site is accessible) 4h before the end of the timer (it used to be 5h before we changed the hours lately)… So, it’s surely based on UTC time.

Can you correct the code so it uses WP settings, and not UTC time?

Just did a test by changing the WP setting to UTC, and the timer and setting the countdown to 5 min… and it shows 4h05…

SO, it doesn’t even use the WP settings, but the local time (it is local, so I don’t know if it uses the server’s time or the user’s time)… Again, could you change it so it uses WP time settings?

Actually i used UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) there.. But your idea is great to implement wordpress local time based on user settings.

Was this ever resolved? I am having the same problem.
