Support » Plugin: Geolocation IP Detection » Problem with correct IP Geolocation

  • Hello,

There are a problem with geolocation of some IP address. I’ve tried, and seems like from some physical points it shows different countries than IP should shown. I checked and seems like IP does not always need to be related with a country… For example, if someone uses router that has IP address connected to different country than it shows that country for particular customer. I assume there are no way of surpassing this since IP address is not showing country from where origin is from?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I don’t think an intermediate router is changing the result. It is more likely that either the reverse proxy detection is configured incorrectly, you are using a page cache, or the data in your data source is incorrect.

    Try this troubleshooting guide:

    Hi Benjamin,

Thank you for your reply. I’m not sure about configuration of reverse proxy detection, but I’m sure that whole severs (nor cPanel) is not using page or any cache. I’ll try troubleshooting link that you sent me.
