Support » Fixing WordPress » Problem with column (it dropped to bottom of page)

  • I have had my WP blog up for a week.. Everything was running fine (more or less) until today when the RSS feeds updated the posts. Now the right hand sidebar is on the bottom of the page. Only on the front page though, and only in IE.. looks fine in Firefox.. any ideas on how to fis this???

    I found 4 threads right off the bat with very little page turning.

    Heres a hint:

    1. your columns are fixed width. You cannot put a 500px wide image in a 400px wide column.

    2. Check your xhtml using the w3c validator. Nearly every wordpress theme contains a link to it. Its easily found using Google (thats a SEARCH ENGINE)

    There are atleast 4 similar threads in my profile.

    maybe the real info he needs is what SEARCH means, and how it works here on the forums.

    i think that’s what i’m going to post from now on when we get these redundant threads… a link to the search feature.
