    Hi,
    I have install this plugin to insert the checkbox for suscribers in shops´s check-out form(following this instructions https://us13.admin.mailchimp.com/lists/members?id=221965#p:1-s:10-so:false). I´ve just uncheck auto subscription in initial sync.

    Unfortunately any the client receive a subscription confirmation e-mail after checking the box and finishing order and no new contact was synchronize on my audience list in Mailchimp.

    Do you know what might be a problem?

    @henty sorry to hear you’re having trouble – although it’s not entirely clear what could be going wrong. Have you run the initial sync yet? Do your logs say that you’ve synced data over to Mailchimp, or is there an error of sorts.

    Also – when you say the client didn’t receive a confirmation email, do you know if you have double opt in enabled or not on your list? If you do, we’ve seen times where the email actually shows up in SPAM for some reason – so please verify that this is also not happening with a test user / purchase.

    You should be able to verify that these people are being submitted by looking at your current logs in our plugin.

    If you’re still running into trouble, please do let us know a little more about your tests and we’ll be glad to dig deeper.

    Also, if you would verify with Mailchimp support the addresses you’re trying to verify that would really help. Maybe they can see something that we cannot at the plugin team.

    Yes the inicial sync was done susccesful. I didn´t check “auto subscribe the existing customers.”as most of them was created before we had newsletter so I would have to ask theme for permision.

    Yes, double opt is enable on this list and work correctly with other suscribtion forms on the web.

    I´ve verifed on audience list and those e-mails are not added to the list. So still no idea what might be wrong.

    @henty thanks for all the back and forth earlier… and also thank you very much for the review 🙂 That’s greatly appreciated over here.

    I’ll close this out since we’ve found that it was just some emails being blacklisted from Mailchimp that was the real problem.

    If anyone else is experiencing this type of issue, please reach out to Mailchimp’s support team to see if some of these emails in question are actually part of a banned list before writing in here.
