# Problem with changling permalink structure

 * I am building a website on my localserver,
    And I just changed the permalink 
   structure to Post Name.
 * So the permalinks all changed in my pages, when i go to edit them I can see them
   there, but when i want to preview the page it gives me a 404.
    But the new permalink
   even shows up in the edit area? but can’t link to the permalink????
 * It works again when i change it back to default, but when i change the permalink
   structure to post name it just doesn’t follow the link.
    Really want to get this
   site up in the next day or two…

 * You can enable mod_rewrite as on using php.ini in case you use xampp or wamp 
   server this is easy to do.
 * Otherwise my advice don’t use permalinks in localhost.
 * Anyways you can set it while making the site live when installing on server.
