I’m interested in Wise Chat Pro if I can get the free version working as needed. Overall I’ve been pleased with the options and settings available (although really need to figure out how to change/add/delete emoticon smilies).

However, I’m having an issue with autoscroll in Firefox 46.0.1 (Mac version). No matter what I do with the settings or CSS it just won’t autoscroll. Autoscroll DOES WORK in Safari Version 9.1 (10601.5.17.4) and Google Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 (64-bit).

Some of my users prefer to use Firefox. Is there a way to get autoscroll to work as expected in Firefox?

Added note: I tested your demos using Firefox and they are autoscrolling. Maybe something in the GeneratePress CSS is preventing the autoscroll in Firefox for some reason? Anyone have a clue what might be affecting only the one browser?

Yet another update. After having others help me out with testing other browsers and platforms, it appears it is only the Mac Firefox that is having the issue. Not ideal, but at least it isn’t a problem with an entire popular browser. Just one platform.

Thank you for reporting this. It is hard to say what might be causing this problem just from your description. I would need to have access to your installation and Mac version of Firefox. I am not on Mac unfortunately. Any custom plugin / modification can indeed affect Wise Chat. You can try to install Wise Chat on a empty WordPress and then add all other plugins you use until autoscroll stops working. It would tell you what plugin affects Wise Chat.

    Thanks
