Hi everyone, I’m happy with the plugin but I have a major problem when I modify a page. The purge of the related page works correctly but I would also need to purge the reference category and the homepage (with subsequent preload) to align everything. For example, if the page is http://www.example.com/news/article1 and I modify article1, the pages http://www.example.com/news and http://www.example.com should also be deleted and recreated.

At the moment this doesn’t seem to happen – is it possible to implement this? Or is there a workaround I can use automatically?

    Thank you!

    Hi @psauxit,

    Excellent, thank you so much!

I’d like to take this opportunity to also ask if you could add a field to control the curl timeout for the preload all, which is currently fixed at 5 seconds. I found myself with an installation where I had to increase it manually because it couldn’t start within those 5 seconds.

    Thanks again,

    You are welcome,

One quick clarifier so I wire this up to the right trigger(s): when should we also purge /category and / (and then preload them)?

    These are the current routes:

    • A. When Auto Purge enabled
    • B. When you click Front Page → Purge This Page
    • C. When you use Advanced Tab → Purge (manual purge)

Note: Front Page and Advanced tab purge actions are currently independent of the Auto Purge + Auto Preload flow. They are just single purge actions.

Additionally, how would you prefer we expose this behavior?

    • Option 1: Direct workflow integration (no new UI):
We automatically include homepage and related category archive(s) in the selected trigger(s) so it “just works.”
    • Option 2: New UI switches:
Add toggle switches in Settings so you can control it explicitly:
      • Purge section:Always purge Homepage” and “Always purge related Category archives
      • Preload section:Always preload Homepage” and “Always preload related Category archives

    Thanks.

    Hi,

It would be better to use Option 2 with therefore the possibility to activate and deactivate the function

    Thanks
