# Problem with authentication

 * Hi,
    I’m having a problem. I’ve installed the plugin, incl the MonsterInsights
   plugin but then I try to add a widget or add the shortcode directly in my template
   file I get the following message:
 * “You must first authenticate to Google Analytics in the “Google Analytics for
   WordPress by MonsterInsights” settings for this widget to work.”
 * I have authenticated my Analytics account and the I click the “Verify Credentials”
   button I get message “Verification Success”.
 * Why is this?
