    Wierd. Yes, I just checked and see that the tag was done incorrectly (not from the Trunk) when submitting to SVN. Thanks for the heads up, will try to correct that in a minute without having to release another BPS version.

    Ok the Tag problem has been fixed in SVN without having to release another BPS version. total zip size is around 1MB now instead of 69MB. Thanks for reporting this.

    Same problem just 45 mins ago and blew up a site that took me a while to repair. Used File Manager to remove all but the .htacess. Whew. Got caught in “Core Maintenance Mode” and error connecting to database.

    @persistent – The BPS Tags problem has already been fixed yesterday around the same time you upgraded BPS.

    The SVN Tags problem was fixed on 3-1 at 8pm PST. There was a period of 4 hours where the BPS SVN Tags problem existed from 4pm PST to 8pm PST. 1,700 folks upgraded BPS during that time period when the SVN Tags problem existed.

    Probably the simplest way to fix this would be to use FTP or your Web Host control file manager and delete the /bulletproof-security/ plugin folder and then reinstall BPS using the WordPress Plugin installer.

    Additional Note: When you manually delete a plugin folder and reinstall a plugin on the WordPress Plugins page then that will not affect your database settings for a plugin. In other words, you are just deleting and reinstalling plugin files and your plugin settings are not affected in any way.

    I’m still having this issue. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, removed the plugin directory, etc. the issue still exists. Now I can’t access the Admin dashboard, plugins, to administer the site. Is there a way to completely remove all references to BP?
