# Problem with 3.2.1 Update

 * I have updated to 3.2.1 both via wordpress and via my host go daddy and am still
   having the same problems.
 * I have deactivated all my plugins and re set them via ftp, i have changed the
   theme to 2011 and still the same problems.
 * there are a number of problems including – unable to change/move/access or do
   anything with widgets, unable to see any text in existing posts or add new posts,
   unable to upload images, unable to logout etc etc
 * Can you please help!

 * Do a [manual upgrade](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update)
   by using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides.

 * This is the only way I could fix the update problem

 * There was no problem with the update on my local machine.
    Found the problem 
   relating to the database on my virtual host.
 * It might be worth starting with a fresh database and importing the backup of 
   your content only.
 * Also using this method there is no need to add the following to your wp-config
   using this process:
    define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true); define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’,
   false )
