    Hi

I installed a WP site on mydomain.com/folder, and on mydomain.com there is another WP install.

When I select a language it goes to main site on domain root and throws 404 error.

How To fix this, so the WP install on folder doesn’t mess with the root folder one?

    Hi,

If you are using the free version, then selecting a language should not redirect you anywhere.

If you have our paid version, I recommend you to contact our live chat and we will help you install and configure it for you: https://gtranslate.io/#contact

    Thanks! 🙂

I set the option “URL Structure:” to ” Sub-directory (http://example.com/de/)”

    So instead of getting

    example.com/sub-dir/de/

    It get’s redirected to

    example.com/de/sub-dir

That option is paid only, you should not turn it on if you do not have our paid version already.

    Thanks! 🙂

Realized now that this was bought by GTranslate.

So what’s the difference between them?

Which one will survive in the years to come?

The difference is the language selector look and feel, everything else is the same.

    Thanks! 🙂
