  • Google will generally use the open graph data.

    However I have seen with some themes, the “structure” of page will break the capture of the snippet. I have one site where this happens, and I’m abandoning the theme due to that and other issues.

    Not an issue with Yoast SEO which puts the data on the page (check your page source), for G+ to read … but if something else on page is messing with how Google scrapes the page, then you end up with only photo and headline, and nothing else.

    Switch to a different theme, and this will work. Or, try changing your plugins and page layout, to see what is impacting that, if it matters to you.
