Now and after I did the first step, I do have problem when I am inquiring the website, it keep show me the following error message:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

What version of WordPress was running on your old site?

I think it is WordPress 2.8.6.

You cannot restore a 2.8.6 database dump into a 3.4 database. You would need to first install 2.8.6, restore the db backup and then update WordPress following the instructions in Upgrading_WordPress_Extended/

But I restore the database and it shows the records are in the database (tables), I have checked it through phpmyadmin.

I can see all the tables and data inside as well.
How I can check if the restore is wrong.
