  • I installed the WP-Live Chat and all work ok from LAN. But from the WAN there is not any icon to start chat.
    May the problem is that The IT department has disabled the access to dashbord from wan.
    Does the wp-liveChat use specific port to function properly?

    Hello @gemos, this looks quite unusual. You should always see the icon in the webpage if you enabled the plugin properly.

    At installation, plugin sends a request to https://activation.wp-livechat.com, this is needed to get an unique identifier for your platform. That’s the only external request.

    WP Live Chat does not use special ports other than 80 or 443, depending on your website configuration. I suggest you double check with your IT department.
