Support » Fixing WordPress » Problem using 'noindex'. Please help!

  • Hi, I am a WordPress novice, so perhaps there is a very simple answer to this, but would really appreciate some help!

I am trying to noindex certain posts on my blog so they don’t get crawled by Google. Now, I’ve tried numerous plugins that promise to do this, but none of them work. When I check the source code on my blog posts I can see that there’s no “robots” meta tag on there at all.

Here’s link to one of the blog posts:

Here’s a paste bin of the post template theme:

So my question is, do I need to insert a line of code into the editor’s post template to get noindex plugins to work? If so, what should I insert?

Any help would be hugely appreciated, as I’ve spent hours searching for a solution to this!

    Cheers
