Looks like I lost my original account after last June. I retrieve password, but then when I use that password to sign in it tells me the .ID. I JUST used to get a new password, is not registered. Try to register: Says already registered.

Anyway, Im wondering if anyone has any insight as to why I cannot upload pictures after the last version upgrade. I have tried using the drag and drop uploader in addition to the browser uploader.

    Im using :
    3.1.1 WP
    Nextgen gallery 1.9.2

When I upload a picture, the selector comes up with the "Add media files from your computer" and insertion options, I insert into post, post only shows a broken image icon.

It looks like it tries to upload "http://www.wjowsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/set22251.jpg" but there is no such /02 directory created. I made one, tried uploading again, nothing's getting put into that folder.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Try to assign 755 recursive permissions to wp-contents folder instead of 777 permissions to uploads folder..

    I made one,

Delete it. It is essential that WordPress creates this folder. Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

Started poking through all of the settings, found one in settings>>media:

    Uploads folder:
    /var/www/wjowsa/wp-content/uploads

    Changed to

    /var/www/html/wp-content/uploads

    works fine now.
