Problem uploading images

    Hi,
    when I try to upload images on my post I get this:

    Unable to create directory D:\Inetpub\webs\francescadani-fancom/wp-content/uploads/2007/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    What I have to do to resolve this problem? Thank you.

    Your “uploads” directory isn’t writable.
    Set the permissions of this directory as 777 from your host control panel or your ftp program.

    I tried setting the permission of my wp-content directory to 777 (by FileZilla) but it came back as:

    500 ‘SITE CHMOD 777 wp-content’: command not understood

    What’s wrong with this picture?
