Problem Uploading Downloadable Product

    Hi,

    I’m having trouble uploading a digital product. Once the product has been added, I then check off the shipping setting “Product will not be shipped to customer” then on the downloads tab I choose Upload new file. Once I select the file in the upload dialog box, it shows the fake bath of the file “C:\fakepath\file.pdf” but there is no upload button to start the uploading process. If I click the Update button for the product, I’m forwarded to the posts management page and none of my changes are saved.

    If I try to choose from an existing file, my options are the CSV files I’ve used to upload the product catalog. Even if i choose these, there’s no confirm button and again if i click update on the product, it forwards me to the posts management page again.

    Any thoughts?

    when you see the fakepath… you do click update. It could be the file type you are uploading is not recognised. Try “Mime Types Extended” its a plug in.
