    Hey, Aaron,

Only my home page needs BAID’s assets. When I attempt to “unload” frontend-bundle.min.js from a page that does not need it, all content between the top menubar and the footer disappears. Any ideas?

PS: Unloading BAID’s CSS file does NOT cause any problems.

@jasonbear Are there any errors printed to the Web Inspector Console?

If you open the Console (instructions below), you should see either a red X tab labeled “Errors” or a “Debugger” tab that will show any error messages. Since we’re dealing with JS assets, it’s likely that relevant errors will be displayed in the Console. Copy and paste the error messages from the console here if so. That should help us get to the next step.

    To open the Console
To open the Console in Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+J (Windows / Linux) or Cmd+Opt+J (Mac).

To open the Console in FireFox, press Ctrl+Shift+J (or Cmd+Shift+J on a Mac).

To open the Console in Safari, press Option + Command + I

@jasonbear Also, off-hand, my guess is that there is an error because the main plugin file is trying to call functions from those JS files that were removed. Therefore, you’ll also want to add some conditional code to before-after-image-extension.php that prevents the calls from running on those pages. Let me know if you’d like me to send suggested code for that. I’m happy to do so. It would be based on WP Conditional Tags:

You can also try Plugin Organizer to disable plugins such as BAID entirely on certain pages: That might be a good, upgrade-safe approach rather than customizing the BAID plugin file.

@jasonbear Hi Jason, it’s been a few days so hopefully all is resolved with this Support thread. I’ll close the ticket soon if I don’t hear from you. Let me know if anything else comes up.
