    I installed a custom post type plugin (‘Easy Content Types’ from Pippin’s Plugins), which prompted for an icon or SVG file upload for the CPT admin menu. Since WP 3.8+ comes bundled with ‘dashicons’ (vector graphic icons), I wanted to use those instead. Pippin couldn’t provide an alternative to a file upload, so I used this PI. Worked right out of of the box. Huzzah! Frustration averted. World Saved! 😉
