Problem since new WP version

Since the new WP version (I think), I’m getting this error:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘name’ in /xxx/plugins/wp-spreadplugin/spreadplugin.php on line 779

It displays a couple of times before the actual shop displays. I’ve found that since the new WP update, it shows this for multiple other webshops as well, which pop up when entering the error in google. Is there a new update coming to fix this? Once again, thanks for your work, it’s very much appreciated!
