Yes it’s stable. Also, please send me screenshots of your Email Users configuration if you can? So I can set it up here exactly the same as you for testing.

if you will not use a custome domain it will work for you!
any way, i will send you screenshots (email ?).

i send you an archive containing my configuration via the contact form used for the transcriptions files.
    thank you very much.

Ok, I found the issue with Email Users. That plugin sets a Return-Path header of the currently-logged in user. Setting this header is incorrect according to RFC 5321:

When the delivery SMTP server makes the “final delivery” of a message, it inserts a return-path line at the beginning of the mail data. […] A message-originating SMTP system SHOULD NOT send a message that already contains a Return-path header field.

I’ve added a fix to Postman to ignore this header.

Please install Postman v1.6.13b or later to try out this fix.

Great!!! Wonderful 😀 I’ll release it today then. Thanks for being one of my 7,000 users!!

    Hi.
    I’ve got similar problem.
The mail configurations seems to be ok, but when I send an testing email I get error:
    Sending the message: Failed
And in status windows it shows:
    5.7.1 Forged sender address: <?=@>

When I check the transcripts of this session I can see that from is valid.

Could you check it for me?

@jsilo, I tried with the same transcript as you (well almost the same.. I used my address as the TO) and it accepted it just fine. I think it has something to do with the Sender Name you have configured. It looks like your SMTP server is not accepting the non-ASCII characters in your name. Try using ASCII characters in your name like I did and see if that works.
