# Problem Saving Changes to Plugin Options

 * I recognize that this may be a problem outside of TablePress, but a) it seems
   to be the only plugin exhibiting this behavior (so far) and b) it’s only happening
   on one of my WordPress installations that are both on the same server.
 * I’m trying to add some new Custom CSS in the Plugin Options. When I click the
   _Save Changes_ button, the page [http://xxx.xxx.xxx/wp-admin/admin-post.php](http://xxx.xxx.xxx/wp-admin/admin-post.php)
   loads but is blank, and the new CSS is not actually saved in the Custom CSS box.
 * Any ideas what would be causing this?
 * Thanks in advance!

 * Slight update: I turned on PHP debug on the site where this is an issue. This
   threw the following error when trying to save the changes on the Plugin Settings
   tab:
 * > Fatal error: Class ‘CSSTidy_custom_sanitize’ not found in /home/content/64/
   > 5303764/html/member/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/classes/class-css.php on
   > line 79
 * I can list the other plugins I use on the site if that’s needed to further troubleshoot
   this issue.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * This seems to be caused by the MailPoet plugin. Are you using that?
    For more
   discussion, please see [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-css-fatal-error-2/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-css-fatal-error-2/)
 * I’m hopeful that I can integrate a workaround in the next version of TablePress.
 * Regards,
    Tobias

 * Tobias,
 * Yes, I do have the MailPoet plugin installed, both version 2 and their latest
   version 3, which was just recently released and will completely replace version
   2. I will be removing version 2 since version 3 has proven to be stable.
 * I read the thread you linked to, and yes, temporarily deactivating the MailPoet
   plugin (all versions installed) then allows me to update the Plugin Options and
   save those changes. That will be my workaround until a more permanent fix can
   be determined.
 * Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help determine the more permanent
   solution.
 * Thank you!

 * Hi,
 * thanks for confirming! This confirms that MailPoet is the culprit here.
    Just
   to be sure: Does this problem also happen when you deactivate MailPoet 2 – but
   leave MailPoet 3 activated?

    Tobias

 * Tobias,
 * Yes, it happens with either or both versions of the plugin activated.
 * Let me know what else I can provide. Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * ok, thanks! This means that their new version doesn’t fix this. Thus, I’ll make
   a change in TablePress to work around their bad code in the next release!
 * In the meantime, please deactivate MailPoet temporarily, whenever editing the
   TablePress “Custom CSS”.
 * Best wishes,
    Tobias
