Hi there,

I am recently trying to restore a back-up I made with BackWPup, following the instructions which are on the website of the plug-in. However, I am having issues when importing the previous database to the new one, as it doesn’t finish the process. I have tried both with myphpadmin and with Admirer. These are the outcomes I get ib both ways:

Error
consulta SQL:

/*!40000 ALTER TABLE
wp_cntctfrm_field
ENABLE KEYS */
MySQL ha dicho: Documentación

#1146 - Tabla 'name-of-the-database.wp_cntctfrm_field' no existe

It seems there is a problem with one of the tables but I do not know how to solve it. I have tried to delete and create both the database and the whole WordPress site with identical results.

I woud kindly appreciate if someone can helping regarding this issue. Should you need anyfurther information, do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards and thank youn in advanced,

JP.

Did you create a full database backup? because I can see that MySQL report that table ‘name-of-the-database.wp_cntctfrm_field’ didn’t not exits?

Helleo @duongcuong96,

Thank you for you response. Yes, I did a full database Backup with the program. In addition, and also download again the database and I continue getting the same error.

By the way, it would be: name-of-the-target-database.wp_cntctfrm_field

With name-of-the-target-database I mean that that would be the database I am trying import to, which has a different name of the original database. Has this anything to do with the problem? Should the database both from the backup and the target datagase have the same name?

Best regards and thank you again in advance,

JP.

No, the database name both don’t need to be the same.
Could you contact your hoster and ask them about this?
If you try to restore the database on your local environment ( xampp, wampp ), is it work normally?
Also, In some case, the MySQL Server got a problem and need to restart can work correctly, you can contact your hoster and ask them for a help

Hello again,

Thank you for your follow up. Sadly, I tried contacting my host and they told me everything was ok. So, unfortunately, I wan unable tonrestore the back up made with BackWPup.

As this was a migrating proccess for one host to another, and thanksfully not a restoring proccess due to a data loss, I could use another migration plugin which worked perfectly when restoring the database.

Best regards,

JP.
