# Problem on sidebar

 * Hi there,
 * I have a few categories on my site, like affiliate programs .. But the menu does
   not show them.. if you go to [http://www.affiliatedungeon.com/](http://www.affiliatedungeon.com/)
   there are no categories showing but if you go to the following link you can see
   there is categories?
 * [http://www.affiliatedungeon.com/category/affiliate-programs/casino-affiliates/](http://www.affiliatedungeon.com/category/affiliate-programs/casino-affiliates/)
 * HOw can i get them to show in the menu on the right?

 * I think the problem is that the categories you have are sub-categories of the
   category named “affiliate programs,” and “affiliate programs” hasn’t been assigned
   to any posts yet, so WordPress won’t show it. I know it doesn’t make sense, but
   that’s the way it works.
