    Hello

thanks you very much to Anders for this great theme. Everything is perfect. I have just one problem. In my local dev environment, I have the “load more” button and then in production, I have no more “load more” button. Any ideas ? thanks you and take care

    Hi @cyrilsource,

Glad you like it! That sounds either like a JavaScript issue, probably with a plugin, or you have a different value set for the posts per page setting in Settings → Reading on your production environment. If you disable the maintenance mode on your site, I can probably tell which.

    Hello Anders

Thanks you very much for your answer.
I have exactly the same plugins locally and in production. And the same value for articles per page. I have disabled maintenance mode on the site if you have time…it will be great

    take care

    Hi @cyrilsource,

I can tell from the pagination wrapper markup that the pagination believes that there are only ten posts to be output, and since all of them are output on the first page, the pagination itself isn’t. The theme seems to have been modified pretty extensively in your child theme, so it’s difficult to tell where the issue you might be. Are you using a custom query to load the posts on the front page? If so, the pagination won’t automatically work with that – it always correponds to the main query.

If you temporarily switch back to Eksell (with the parent theme active, and not the child theme), does the pagination show up as expected?

    Hello Anders,

Thanks you very much for your time.
Yes I use a custom query but in local is ok
I already tried to switch back to Eksell parent theme but it’s the same, ok in local but not in prod
    strange no ?
Maybe the PHP version ? It’s not the same between prod and local…

    Hi @cyrilsource,

That is strange. The PHP version being the culprit sounds unlikely, but it’s always worth a shot.

    Hello Anders

For my problem, I was a little stupid and confused

In your comment 2 days ago, you were right. My custom query was ok but not for the pagination, it is always corresponds to the main query, I didn’t noticed, it loaded the posts but not my post type ‘films’. A big confusion in my head, I’m tired…
Now I changed the name of ‘posts’ to ‘films’ with the main query of Eksell and it’s perfect.

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks you very much for time and your great work for WordPress

    Take care
    all the best,

    Cyril
