# Problem installing WordPress 4.1 – Unusual Error

 * When I attempted to update to WordPress 4.1 I received the following error during
   the installation:
 * **Update WordPress**
 * Downloading update from [https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/wordpress-4.1-new-bundled.zip…](https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/wordpress-4.1-new-bundled.zip…)
 * Unpacking the update…
 * Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\Hosting\5567491\
   html\wp-admin\includes\file.php on line 693

 * That’s a limitation of your php environment – if you have access to your php 
   ini you could up the time-limit. Or install manually.
