Problem installing theme in Wampserver wp installation

I am trying to upload/install a theme into a wampserver 2.1a installation on my Windows 7 workstation. I’m trying to setup a test server for my site development. I’ve installed version 3.0.4 of wordpress into this server. After browsing to my theme’s zip file and clicking ‘Install’, I get the following error:

“The uploaded file could not be moved to C:\wamp\www\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/12.”

Any ideas or suggestions? Note how some slashes are “\” and some are “/”. Is this a problem?
