# Problem installing pluginד

 * When I try to add a new plugin through the dashboard it stopped with the words:
   Downloading install package from [https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/buddypress.2.2.3.1.zip&#8230](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/buddypress.2.2.3.1.zip&#8230);
   
   Unpacking the package … Installing the plugin …
 * When I try through the FTP I see the plugin folder appears there but I do not
   see it in the dashboard.
 * Can anyone help?

 * Try renaming the plugins folder to `plugins.HOLD` – wait a few minutes and then
   change it back – see if it works and is visible.

 * I tried to rename the folder, but it did not help ..
 * It is the buddypress and bbpress plugins’ I do see them at the FTP but not on
   the deshbord.
 * Other plugins appear dashboard ..
 * are there some ideas?
