# Problem in encoding

 * I upgraded wordpress from version 2.6.1 to 2.7.1 greek (el) with MySQL Character:
   UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
    and MySQL connection collation: utf8_unicode_ci
 * In my laptop the clone installation upgraded and works perfectly,
    but on live
   server it is buggy cause i cannot preview greek characters in a post whereas 
   i can comment using greek to an existing post!
 * What is wrong in wp-admin? Shouldn’t work the same transfer to DB process in 
   users area and admin area??
 * Note that in my laptop i can save in greek in both areas.
 * In the DB i can see this following entries:
 * 14272 284 2009-04-28 13:05:17 2009-04-28 10:05:17 Τέστ #2 0 inherit open 
   open 14271-revision
 * 14271 284 2009-04-28 13:21:34 2009-04-28 10:21:34 ???? ????????? ??????? Mozilla????#
   2 0 publish
 * Τέστ #2 is correct to show in the preview and post.
    Someway somehow the 
   encoding is lost before saving in the DB Τέστ #2 -> ???? #2 for the actual
   entry.

 * I made some tests and research in the DB and i found out that autosaving (ajax)
   saves correctly to the DB whereas the buttons “Save Draft” & “Publish” create??????
   characters in the DB.

 * i tried a lot of test with the owner of the site and we concluded that Plugin:“
   Yet Another Related Posts Plugin 3.1/3.2 Returns a list of the related entries
   based on a unique algorithm using titles, post bodies, tags, and categories. 
   Now with RSS feed support! Από mitcho (Michael Yoshitaka Erlewine).”
 * causes the problem
 * Version 2.1 works ok
 * Hope helped someone else!
