  • I have exactly the same issue. I found out that it’s SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character (in all browsers the same) but I’m not able to fix it so far. WP 3.7.1 (multisite) SL 2.6.0 Thank in advance you for any help.

When I use Sidebar Login version 2.5.1 there is no problem with this SyntaxError so I think it can be related with the changes done in version 2.5.2

I too am experiencing the same condition. Is it my setup or the update?

    The error is listing as:

    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
    jquery.js?ver=1.10.2:3
    x.extend.parseJSON jquery.js?ver=1.10.2:3
    e.parseJSON jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.2.1:2
    jQuery.ajax.success sidebar-login.min.js?ver=2.6.0:1
    c jquery.js?ver=1.10.2:3
    p.fireWith jquery.js?ver=1.10.2:3
    k jquery.js?ver=1.10.2:5
    r jquery.js?ver=1.10.2:5
