Quick question. I have recently started using Google PageSpeed CND.

WordFence blocked there ip address then caused site to fail as the CDN could not fetch the conent.

    An example ip addresses :
    74.125.176.107
    74.125.182.39
    etc

Google dont have a specfic IP address s besides using a robot.txt or htaccess to disallow it indexing /wp-admin/

Has anyone else got a solution for this problem ?

  • Hello There

    Sorry for chiping in

    1) http://www.projecthoneypot.org/ip_74.125.182.39

The Project Honey Pot system has detected behavior from the IP address consistent with that of a comment spammer. Below we’ve reported some other data associated with this IP. This interrelated data helps map spammers’ networks and aids in law enforcement efforts. If you know something about this IP, please leave a comment.

All i can say is the 2 ips are comment bots

A quick WHOIS lookup showed that both these IP addresses actually belong to Google. ‘Comment spammer’ must thus be a false positive – better leave a comment at Project Honeypot so they can whitelist these IPs. 😉
