# Problem getting registered users comments automatically approved

 * Hi,
 * Can’t figure out why I keep getting notices that I have to approve comments, 
   when I see it’s set up to not require my approval??
 * Here’s the setup:
 * 1) Discussion options:
    Email me whenever: [x] anyone posts a comment [x] a comment
   is held for moderation
 * Before a comment appears:
    [ ] an administrator must approve the comment… [ ]
   comment author must fill out name and email [ ] comment author must have previously
   approved comment
 * 2) Blog authentication enabled with Angsuman’s plugin

 * **Trackback** spam, most likely.
 * I’d grab the Bad Behavior plugin. It works quite well with either Akismet or 
   Spam Karma 2.

 * Hi HandySolo,
 * Thanks… but I should have clarified… these are legitimate comments by my “real”
   users–i.e., people who have to log on to the system to get into the front door(
   using Angsuman’s plugin).
 * Other ideas?

 * No great ideas. I’m not familiar at all with the Angusman plugin, I’m afraid.
