# Problem editing php files

    When I open a php file to modify in Notepad, the carriage returns have
   been replaced with square symbols, and it makes it difficult to find the portions
   of code that need to be modified. Is it possible to search for these symbols 
   and replace them with carriage returns? Thanks for your help, Andy.
