About the first issue (shop page), I have figured out that the problem is with the url, for example:
http://www.yoursitedomain.com/shop/?swoof=1&product_cat=women -> doesn’t work
http://www.yoursitedomain.com/?swoof=1&product_cat=women -> this works!
Any idea? Maybe a redirection?
This is a bit confusing. I am using woo commerce in a compare theme. The filter will not show in the shop page.
What is the best way to set-this up and make it work. I did not quite understand the option you suggested. if you can explain a little bit more; I will give it shot!
Hi to all
Docs: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/documentation/
@oneil213 – activate Set filter automatically
@nikosp – soorry http://c2n.me/38FxQUG.png no site at all
Maybe you not installed ‘shop’ page for woocommerce, and it was the reason
http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/product-category/clothing/ – the plugin works with category pages
Am afraid the result is the same
My suggestion, since these search criteria are attributes which are assigned to each product. Can you remove the ‘shop’ from your plugin.
I reckon its not able to access the shop( I only installed the woo commerce into my theme) since the shop it self is picking most of he product from my theme data base.
I am not sure if i am making any sense. I should indicate that I am not a geek
Hello Oneil. Just now it is possible work only on shop page and products category page. What can be realized in future version – is shortcode with parameters which works with the plugin and any product category + search redirect will be on the same page …
Hello Real,
I dont understand why it will not even shown my shop page, is there a way I can solve this?
Basically the woocmmerce shop will not display any side bar
Hello RealMag,
Many thanks for your plugin but I reckon there is a little bug in it. The search URL includes ‘/shop/’ and due to this, after the search, it goes blank.
The shop page is installed on our website as well.
Can you please point me in the right direction – say the file that builds the search URL and where I can edit it to remove ‘/shop/’ from the link? I have the same problem as Nikosp mentioned above.
Many thanks for your anticipated quick response.
Cheers
@oneil213 – yes, you can add in the your_theme/woocomerce/archive-products.php add this shortcode [woof]
@glevels – yes, I found such migration error – change the code as on the screenshot http://c2n.me/38YsYDJ.png – I will fix it in update
Many thanks for your response RealMag. The fix doesn’t seem to be working.
I also noticed the products filter displays on top of the page once it is activated without it been put in the sidebar.
Thanks
@glevels – drop me link please with test page where I can look at it
Thanks RealMag
comparepricemarket.com/shop
I have been able to hide the filter showing on the top. I put something in the custom css to hide it. The search result is still not displaying though.
Cheers
