    Hello

I am a beginner with WordPress, I am happy with what I have been able to achieve so far, but today had a problem that has rendered my webpage static and missing several elements that yesterday were working fine. I do not understand why.

I think this may be connected to the update to 4.5 that I installed this morning, or perhaps to the plug-in for the pdf embedder. I am not sure.

What has happened is that the Headline rotator, easy slider and images linked to testimonials on the homepage, the pdf links on pages referring to my articles, as well as to pricing and to UK courses that I advertise on the website, and also the entire contents of the testimonials page, which all worked fine yesterday, now no longer work or even appear.

It may be a very simple thing that I have changed (and all these media items are intact in the editing pages and have not changed there or in the library) but I have no idea how to rectify this.

    Can anyone help?

    Here is my site: http://www.performanceinenglish.com

@tostig: It sounds to me like you’re running into the jQuery-related issue mentioned here.

And since you’re using the Enfold theme, see also the response here (which has to do specifically with that theme).

Thank you for your reply; I doubt I will be able to follow the detail of the conversation; as my site is hosted by one.com I am hoping they will resolve this anyhow.

But updating the Enfold theme is worth a try if that can be done via One.com hosting. I will take a look and write back here.

    Thanks again

I’m having issues with the header and footer on my website since the 4.5 update as well. The option to edit isn’t even available. I’m getting a “fatal error” when trying to edit.
I’ve had issues with other plugins (Visual Composer) since the update, so I imagine that this is also related somehow? Any help would be appreciated!

There is was a 4.5 compatibility fix on 12th April for Enfold apparently, I spent two hours with One.com who host my website, only solution they offer is I buy Enfold 3.5.2 which is compatible with Word Press 4.5

Is there another way, just getting a patch for WordPress from Enfold?
