    Hello to all.

I faced a big problem after the penultimate calendar update, the 2.3.9. Having done something went wrong: the plugin does not work anymore and I could not even get into the setting from the WP dashboard. I read on this forum some information about it on the same issue. I changed the PHP version of my host and I turned off all plugins to see if the “calendar” could return to work but it was not so. I then decided to completely uninstall the plug-in and reinstall it clean in version 2.3.10. The plugin has returned to work but all past events have been canceled. I tried to do a “restore” from the DB but it did not work. Doing the “restore” the plugin stopped working again. I reinstalled the working version (2.3.10) and I made a BKP of the database tables (wp-ai1ec_event_instances and wp_ai1ec_events in CSV and SQL version) I tried to do a “restore” directly from DB but, within the plugins are still not appearing old events. It is about 400 events that were incorporated I would avoid entering them by hand. They are a historian who I need to see again in my calendar.

Please help me to solve this serious problem that is driving me crazy.

I await your reply courteously as soon as possible.

    Best regards.

Sorry for the way I write English but I used Google Translate

    Do you have any idea?

    Hi Andrew,

Events should appear if you import/restore the following database tables: wp_term_relationships, wp_term_taxonomy, wp_terms(Categories and Tags), wp_posts, wp_ai1ec_events and wp_ai1ec_event_instances.

    Hi Benjamin,

I tried to load the tables that you have written to me but unfortunately some of them give me an error loading. Still do not appear on the site the old events and I’m crying compinciando think they’ll have to put them back all hand 🙁 Maybe I missed a few step. I completely delete the plugin before inserting tables in the database? If you have any other idea please let me know as soon as possible.

One of the errors is this (this for the table wp ai1ec_event, for example):

    —-

    Query SQL:

    — — Dump dei dati per la tabella wp_ai1ec_events — INSERT INTO wp_ai1ec_events (post_id, start, end, timezone_name, allday, instant_event, recurrence_rules, exception_rules, recurrence_dates, exception_dates, venue, country, address, city, province, postal_code, show_map, contact_name, contact_phone, contact_email, contact_url, cost, ticket_url, ical_feed_url, ical_source_url, ical_organizer, ical_contact, ical_uid, show_coordinates, latitude, longitude, force_regenerate) VALUES (9507, 1427392800, 1427401800, ‘Europe/Rome’, 0, 0, ”, ”, ”, ”, ‘Touring Club Italiano’, ‘Italia’, ‘Corso Italia, 10, 20123 Milano, Italia’, ‘Milano’, ‘Lombardia’, ‘20123’, 1, ‘Istituto Oikos’, ‘+390221597581’, ‘info@istituto-oikos.irg’, ‘http://www.istituto-oikos.org’, ‘a:2:{s:4:”cost”;s:5:”35€”;s:7:”is_free”;b:0;}’, ‘https://www.facebook.com/events/793761857358287/’, ”, ”, NULL, NULL, ‘ai1ec-9507@www.woodygipsyband.com’, 1, ’45.[…]

Can I send my login data to the database to verify it?
Thank you very much for your answer in the meantime, I wish you a good day, greetings from Italy

    Hi Andrew,

Do you know which version you used before the upgrade to version 2.3.9?

Now my version of plugin is 2.3.10, the lastes

Okay, but I was wondering which version you used before the upgrade, if it was older, it is possible that this is why you do not see events.

I just can not put the old events 🙁

    Hi Andrea,

Sorry for not replying sooner. I’m not sure what happened, but it would be best to restore the database and all files of your WordPress installation if possible, with the plugin version that you used before the upgrade.

I think they can not do more because my database running the BKP of only six days and it’s been too long 🙁

I’m sorry I can not be more helpful, if something similar happens, please upgrade the plugin manually, that way you will keep all events in the database: http://time.ly/document/user-guide/troubleshooting/perform-manual-upgrade/

    Thanks,
    Ben
