I switched my domain from suitelife.ES to suitelife.COM. Following instructions I found, I made changes to reflect this in my wordpress’ database (it’s a multisite and I did it for each site), changing for ‘siteurl’, ‘home’, etc. Then added define(‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’,’’); to the wp-config.php. I get this error message on a white screen:

This webpage has a redirect loop.

The webpage at has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

I’m way over my head with this. Could someone please help me out with this?

Search the DB again for the .ES domain. Search EVERY table.

Also check your wp-config.php and make sure everything in there points correctly.

Thanks. I found a few in the database that needed to be changed that previously I assumed were for images and other things I could change with a plugin.

Best to just change ’em all 🙂 It’s safer that way.

I see that now. I tried to find a list of the specific things that absolutely had to be changed in order for it to just basically work (and I’d sort out the details later – there were thousands of instances to change), but it wasn’t enough.

I’m not even half done changing all .ess to .coms but evidently I changed the right ones at this point.
